Hi, I'm Alice.
this is a case-study in transformation
My background as an urban-missionary & foster mom did not prepare me for what it would be like to heal my nervous system after a C-PTSD diagnosis. I turn to the canvas when I am confused; therefore, art became a refuge for me to release repressed emotions & attempt to find clarity once more.
As I healed, I learned much about repairing & rebuilding after trauma. Immersive art, poetry, & creative storytelling would become my preferred mediums for introducing other people to my personal brand of integrative healing, the art of alchemy.
With my art, I show the process of inner healing through the lens of my personal story of transformation as I reveal the (wo)MAN behind the curtain.
